YOUNG JUSTICE DRAG AU - THE ENSEMBLE

Tim “Robyn” Drake (19): Tim took over Dick’s old drag persona when Dick moved on to bigger and better things. He’s not the acrobat Dick is, so he added fire-y baton twirling to the mix. Kind of an aloof prima donna. The others call him Robyn Redbreast which he hates.

Karen “Karl” Beecher (26): Karen, Mal’s longtime girlfriend, is a confident, suave drag king, with a look based partly on matinee idols of the 1930s and partly on Tony Stark. Her life keeps taking her further and further away from Mal, but she doesn’t know how to end things (or if she’s ready to end things). 

Casper “Amazonia” Sandsmark (21): Cas wants SO BADLY to be a pretty drag queen, but his musculature and lack of anything resembling grace have him forever type-cast as a warrior woman. It isn’t all bad — his idol is mega drag star Diana Prince, who exemplifies that look.

Bart “Kim Pulse” Allen (19): Bart is — TECHNICALLY — Wally’s cousin. Super technically, Wally doesn’t even think it counts if it’s your uncle’s husband’s sperm-donation-to-his-lesbian-friends whom you met like once when he was seven and now he has invaded your life to alienate all your friends and loved ones and to have a more “glamorous” drag look than you. (Bart is a little too hyperactive to pull off glamorous effectively, but he tries.)

Gar “Menagerée” Logan (18): Gar is a baby queen, and he prefers dramatic, exotic, usually animal-inspired looks over traditionally pretty drag. He does dance and acrobatics. Gar’s mother was TV actress and animal rights activist Marie Logan, the inspiration for Megan’s act. When Gar was a young teenager he ran across a review of Megan’s show online and convinced his mom that they had to go see her, and it was the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Since his mom passed away last year, he has been living with Megan, and she’s become his drag mentor and big sister.
