30 Day Fandom Crush Meme, Day 5: Disney crush. If I wanted to accurately reflect my childhood, I would have to say Aladdin, but currently I’ll go for Prince Naveen.
However, in the broader Disney world of non-animated features, I want to give a shout-out to Tommy Kirk, a.k.a. the smart middle brother in The Swiss Family Robinson. I had a giant crush on him throughout my childhood. Unsurprisingly, he’s gay. (And lost his job at Disney because of it when he was 18, though they made him churn out a few more features with Annette Funicello even after they terminated his contract.)
