Happy Hanukkah: The Festival of Lights! (12/08/12 to 12/16/12)
Tonight is the first night of Hanukkah! Chanukah Sameach! חג חנוכה שמח!
Happy first night of
Hanukkah!Chanukah!Hanukkah!HAPPY SEASON OF GRATED FINGERS!
I don’t understand that reference? Is this a diaspora thing?
Then again it might just be too early to try and understand the Jew-y.
Happy Hanukkah!
1. No one in America, at least, can agree on how to spell Hanukkah in english.
2. I have never in my life managed to make latkes without bloodshed. Ever.
So it’s not really a cultural thing, but a me-thing because YES I GRATED MY FINGERS AGAIN TODAY.
I’ve always been lucky enough to have a grating attachment on my Kitchen Aid. The joke is that they don’t taste the same without the dash of blood.
Now I want latkes.
My ex nearly burned down her kitchen in a grease fire when she tried to make latkes for our high school Yiddish club’s celebration. Latkes are no trifling matter.
OP, LEMME LOVE YOU DOWN.
*DEAD* i saw this and started busted out laughing it was too funny but i love it
O M F G
